ACCESSIBILITY REQUESTS
We’re committed to making Laneway Festival accessible and welcoming for everyone. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please follow these steps:
1. Fill out our Accessibility Request Form so we can understand your access needs and provide the best possible support.
2. Once your form is submitted, our team will begin reviewing your request. We’ll start contacting attendees from November onwards to confirm details and answer any questions.
3. Closer to the event, we’ll send you an Access Information Pack. This will include everything you need to know about the accessible facilities and services available at the event.
4. To help us accommodate your needs, please submit any accessibility requests no later than one week before the event date. Please note that during the festival, this form will not be monitored, and we may be unable to action last-minute requests. Thank you for your understanding!
ACCESSIBILITY VIEWING AREA
Laneway provides Accessible Viewing Decks or designated viewing areas for patrons with disabilities (including non-visible conditions) and their companions. Please note, if the deck or area reaches capacity, priority will be given to wheelchair users and those with significant mobility needs.
These platforms are intended for people with long-term or permanent access needs and are not for general use or temporary injuries.
If you experience sensory sensitivity, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider ahead of the event to help plan for your comfort.
LOW SENSORY & CHILL OUT SPACES
Our events are held in outdoor spaces and feature large crowds, loud noises, and are exposed to weather and uneven surfaces. If you feel overwhelmed, or require additional support (but you don’t require medical attention), please make your way to our chill out / low impact spaces that are indicated on the patron map.
If you feel unwell, or need medical assistance, please head to one of our medical outposts which will be sign-posted and also listed on the patron map when available.
COMPANION CARDS
If you have an approved companion card you will be able to add an additional ticket during your ticket purchase through Ticketek. If you have already purchased a ticket and didn't request a Companion Card ticket at the time of purchase, please contact Ticketek directly here.
