SYDNEY
Youth Policy

St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Sydney in 2024 will be a 16+ event.

So that we can provide a secure and safe environment for everyone, we are once again implementing our Youth Policy for 2024, which will form part of our Conditions of Entry.

In summary, the minimum age requirement to attend St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Sydney for 2024 will be 16 years of age (that is, 16 years as at the date of the event: Sunday 4 February 2024).

All patrons under the age of 18-years old MUST be accompanied and supervised, at all times, by a *responsible adult over the age of 18 years old.

*A responsible adult is defined as a person who is 18 years or older and is:

  • The minor’s parent, step-parent, guardian, grandparent, or
  • The minor’s spouse who is over the age of 18 years, or
  • A person who is acting in place of a parent and who could reasonably be expected to exercise responsible supervision of the minor - for example, a sporting coach.

A youth ticket must be purchased with an 18+ ticket, at a ratio of 1:1, that is, a responsible adult may supervise a maximum of ONE juvenile at the festival.

If a juvenile is found to be unaccompanied or unsupervised at any point, both the juvenile and their respective responsible adult will have their tickets cancelled and will be escorted from the festival site.
