We’re committed to making Laneway Festival accessible and welcoming for everyone. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please follow these steps:

1. Fill out our Accessibility Request Form so we can understand your access needs and provide the best possible support. If you require the form in a different format, reach out to us at info@lanewayfestival.com.au

2. Once your form is submitted, our team will begin reviewing your request. We’ll start contacting attendees from November onwards to confirm details and answer any questions.

3. Closer to the event, we’ll send you an Access Information Pack. This will include everything you need to know about the accessible facilities and services available at the event.

4. To help us accommodate your needs, please submit any accessibility requests no later than one week before the event date. Please note that during the festival, this form will not be monitored, and we may be unable to action last-minute requests. Thank you for your understanding!

Laneway provides Accessible Viewing Decks and designated viewing areas for patrons with disability (including non-visible disability) and their companions. These spaces are designed to support people who need clearer sightlines and room for mobility aids.

As these areas are limited, if the deck reaches capacity, priority will be given to wheelchair and mobility-aid users and patrons who require access-supported viewing to participate fully in the event. We really appreciate everyone’s support in helping us keep these areas available for the people who rely on them most.

Please note that while staff do their best to assist, the viewing decks are not low-sensory spaces and may still be busy, noisy and visually stimulating. If you are seeking a quieter environment to regulate or decompress, you are welcome to use our Chill Out Space or Low Sensory Space on site.

Our events are held in outdoor spaces and feature large crowds, loud noises, and are exposed to weather and uneven surfaces. If you feel overwhelmed, or require additional support (but you don’t require medical attention), please make your way to our dedicated chill out space or low sensory space that are indicated on the patron map.

If you feel unwell, or need medical assistance, please head to one of our medical outposts which will be sign-posted and also listed on the patron map when available.

This year, Tibi Access is joining the Laneway team to deliver our Patron Support Service, a dedicated accessibility service designed to support patrons with lived experience throughout the festival.

Festivals can be large and at times overwhelming. Tibi's role is to make your experience feel easier, safer, and more supported, so you can focus on enjoying the event.

What is the Patron Support Service?
The Patron Support Service is a specialised accessibility initiative that ensures patrons with lived experience feel supported, safe, and included at every stage of their event experience. The service is delivered by staff with lived experience of disability and/or experience working in the access and events sector, creating a strong sense of understanding, trust, and empathy.

We offer dedicated one-on-one support before and during the event. Support begins with pre-event communication to help you prepare, reduce uncertainty, and understand what to expect on the day. While onsite, our team focuses entirely on you, checking in regularly and adapting to your needs as they change throughout the festival.

How can Tibi support you onsite:
Assistance with navigating the festival site, especially in busy or crowded areas
Support accessing food, drinks, or merchandise if queues feel overwhelming
Escorts to sensory spaces, quiet zones, or other designated areas when you need a break
Reassurance and grounding support during moments of overwhelm
A friendly face to see around the festival

If you have an approved companion card you will be able to add an additional ticket during your ticket purchase through Ticketek. If you have already purchased a ticket and didn't request a Companion Card ticket at the time of purchase, please contact Ticketek directly here.

Accessible portable toilets are available on site at Laneway, these will be sign-posted and also listed on the patron map when available.

Guide and support animals are welcome at Laneway, we kindly ask that you provide documentation confirming your animal is an accredited assistance animal. As an outdoor live music event, the environment can be busy and loud at times. If you have other support options that work for you, you may wish to consider those.

Unfortunately Auslan interpretation will not be available at Laneway 2026.

We do our best to cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and food allergies. If you have specific food allergies or medical requirements, please complete the Accessibility Request Form to ensure you can bring in required food. If you need to bring Hydralyte or electrolytes, you're welcome to do so as long as it’s sealed, unopened, and in its original packaging.

You can bring prescription medication into the event, BUT the medication needs to be in its original packaging with the dispensary label matching the name on the ID of the ticket holder. Only bring the amount of medication you need for the duration of the event. If you would like to store your medication with our medical team, please advise a Laneway staff member upon entry and we will be able to direct you. Please note that your bag will still be searched by security prior to entering the festival. Over-the-counter medication for personal use (e.g., Panadol, Nurofen) is allowed at the festival.

Some seating is available across the site and on the viewing platforms, however this cannot always be guaranteed. If seating helps you manage your day, you’re welcome to bring a compact, backless chair or a seating aid, such as a tripod cane seat, and our team can help direct you to safe locations for use.
