What ID do I need to bring?

Laneway Festival Auckland is a licensed event recommended for a mature audience 16+.

The event has the capacity to be very loud, have high intensity crowd movements, bands that may use explicit language or make references to drugs/alcohol in their performance, and patrons drinking alcohol and may not be suitable for patrons under 16. 

Please note that the event will also not allow any pass outs (leaving the festival and then trying to re-enter).

Patrons over 18 must present valid photo ID in order to receive a wristband at the entry to access the bar areas / consume alcohol. 

Anyone over 18 who fails to present ID will not be granted entry to the bar areas. No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring accepted ID.

Accepted ID for 18+ patrons attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Auckland will be as follows:

1.         Current New Zealand Driver’s Licence with photograph; or

2.         Passport; or

3.         Current HANZ 18+ Card

Anyone 18+ who fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will not be allowed into St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted ID. The Conditions of Entry and Ticketing Terms & Conditions apply to everyone attending St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. Promoter reserves the right to evict any persons engaging in illegal activities.
