NIA ARCHIVES
Nia Archives wants you to channel your inner baddie. At 23 years old, the British multi-disciplinary artist is at the forefront of a new generation’s Junglist movement. She reps her Jamaican roots, and pays respect to the rich history of the genre, but has a new plan for it. Melding jungle, neo-soul and sound system culture into a style she likes to call “future classic”, Nia Archives’ club-ready productions are peppered with cathartic and honest lyrics about her life. Ever since dropping her 2021 debut EP Headz Gone West, she’s been taking the UK by storm; she won BBC Introducing ‘Artist of the Year’ and even opened for Beyonce at the London stop of her Renaissance tour. Lately, she’s been soundtracking euro summer with her Yeah Yeah Yeahs Jungle flip ‘Off Wiv Ya Headz’ and new track ‘Bad Gyalz’. Heads will roll at Laneway Festival 2024.
